Nathan Rafferty tasted success at the PDC Grand Slam Of Darts in Wolverhampton last week, enjoying a run to the last 16 where his run was ended by Jonny Clayton.

Rafferty went onto finish 2nd in his group, with victories over Krzystof Ratajski and Martin Schindler.

He lost his opening game 5-4 to the eventual winner Gerwyn Price, missing a match dart at the bull to defeat the Welsh man.

Nathan sadly suffered a 10-2 defeat to another Welsh star in Jonny Clayton, ending in what was a great run from Rafferty.

Rafferty will be competing in the PDC World Youth Championships this weekend in Minehead and will be looking to build on his current success.
